“User focussed Architecture: Blending Functions within Experiences”
Problem : With various stores in East York Centre Mall running out of business, and the new Metrolinx Project in the Overhead Blvd, over 1100 people in the community have lost their jobs. The community needs a new version of shopping centre that meets their growing and create revenue generation opportunities for its people.
Problem: The East York Centre Mall lacks an organized system of parking and entry/exits on the site plan. The goal is to maximize the usage of parking space and introduce a place for drive thru near the food court for users to experience the street food of South Asian Countries with a modern blend.
Problem: The city of Mumbai in India is called the city of dreams which because of one of the biggest film industries called Bollywood. Despite this, the people of the city are unable to experience the making of these films in the industry. The government wants to introduce a project that focusses on crafting cinematic experiences and their making for the people.
Problem: The city of Haridwar is experiencing a shortage of housing for low-income and medium-income groups, even as the demand continues to grow with the city's expansion. The goal is to thoughtfully organize and plan housing for low-income, medium-income, and high-income groups, ensuring that the specific needs of each group are met. Additionally, the plan aims to introduce community spaces that foster collaboration and enhance the overall living experience.
